Going Global...
…from Thurso to the Middle East! (by Roger Rushton – MD)
This year STC have enjoyed the most dynamic period in our 12 year history. Big thanks are due to our trainers who have driven, flown and taxied to Muscat, Paris, Cairo, Stavanger, Capetown, Houston, Den Helder, Oslo, London, Ravenna and of course Thurso & Brora in the far North of Scotland!
I’m proud to say that our adventures abroad have been matched by some wonderful feedback and course variety here in the UK. Over the past 6 months we’ve tackled learning & development challenges for graduates, mentors, supervisors, team leaders, meetings organisers, project managers, presenters, facilitators, safety coaches, report writers and commercial managers!
STC Academies
The power of the branded / modular approach to learning & development continues to demonstrate its value. Special thanks to Douglas Leith (Brand Manager) and Mark Rushton (Product Specialist) who have mobilised the trainer team to deliver solutions which are truly creative in every way. Strong partnerships have been forged with our client base – programmes now exceed 20 in this format with recent commissioning involving the Wood Group, FMC Technologies, RBG Group & Vroon Offshore Services.
AECC Courses
STC’s new Open Course schedule for 2008 is now available. Early take up has already been exceptional and we thank the many organisations who support us. We continue to ‘punch above our weight’ by attracting a global audience to the AECC. Please also note that by joining the STC User Group free B&B is offered as part of the course fee – a service that we believe is unique!
Finally, may I also take this opportunity to wish all past STC delegates and L&D professionals alike a wonderful Christmas and New Year (along with a rest from the hectic schedule of running successful training events!)
